Robbie and Nellie Nichols are the owners of the Elmira Enforcers. Robbie has had a ten year career as a pro hockey player himself, being drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in 1983 before signing with the Detroit Red Wings in 1987. Robbie played in a number of different organizations, but captured a championship with the Adirondack Red Wings in 1988. He then coached for ten years with several organizations as well before becoming the GM of the Elmira Jackals. Nellie is from California originally and has run the Pioneers alongside her husband Robbie for the past seven years.The Nichols have four children and four grandchildren and have been foster parents for over 20 years. The Nichols now bring hockey back to Elmira with the Enforcers.
